Head Metallix 4 Tennis Racquet Head Metallix 4 Tennis Racquet The Head Metallix 4 is a new slightly more control-oriented option in Head’s line. Like the Metallix 10 and Metallix 6, the Metallix 4 retains the use of Flexpoint technology and offers several new technologies for 2006.

Head Metallixis incorporated into the shaft section, making the Metallix 4 lighter and stiffer for more power.Metallixis made of a matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy that is 1000 times smaller than typical metals.Head Stabilizereliminates racquet vibration and ensures the ultimate in comfort on every shot.Head LMS (Longer Main String) design lowers the bridge section to create a larger hitting surface without making the racquet any larger. The Metallix 4 is a more control-oriented option to the Metallix 6 and Metallix 10, yet still offers ample power and stability. Surprisingly controlled thanks to the “flexpoints” cut into the frame at 3:00 and 9:00.

I actually already knew that I would because I bought a 2nd as a backup for when the string breaks.

Wilson H1 Outer Edge OS Tennis Racquet Wilson H1 Outer Edge OS Tennis Racquet The Wilson Hammer H1 Outer Edge returns! The H1 is one of the most powerful frames offered by Wilson, combining a super-oversized 135 square inch head with a 28.5 inch length and a very stiff beam. Geared to the beginning to intermediate level player with a slow to moderate swing. Light static weight with a head heavy balance (as is typical with all Wilson Hammers) keeps the H1 stable, maneuverable, and very powerful. Dense string pattern provides a surprising amount of control to complement the already generous sweetspot.

Customer Review: Great Racquet
I have been using this racquet for about four years. I have a longer reach and bigger sweet spot than my opponents. I can see the advantage particulary on overheads…I get balls no one thinks I can return. I find it to be a versatile and very forgiving racquet. I had two, and the frame on one became damaged…thank goodness for Amazon where I was able to find another back up. I was really anxious thinking I had to audition new racquets….right before a Sectionals competition.

Customer Review: Love this racket!
This racket is excellent for an all-court player, rating level 3.5 to 5.0 (intermediate to advanced). The oversized head makes for great reach at the net while my serve does not suffer a bit. I get power and touch off the ground. My results improved with this racket over a couple of others I’d been using. Very nice!
