Dunlop 600G ICE Tennis Racquet Dunlop 600G ICE Tennis Racquet

Tennis Magazine Editors Choice Award

A tweener racquet that leans more towards the power end of the spectrum, the Dunlop 600G ICE offers a lightweight racquet that exhibits an increased amount of power versus the Dunlop 400G, and is suitable for intermediate level players. The 600G ICE is very easy on the arm and has a more open string pattern which allows greater potential to generate spin, all while enhancing the size of the sweetspot.

Customer Review: BEST VALUE RACQUET
I bought a prince o3 “red” and used it for a few months; I liked it. Then I broke a string and had to switch back to my “reserve” racquet, the 600G. It was a night and day difference! The sweet spot was huge, everything felt so much easier! When I saw how cheap this racquet now goes for (back in england in 2006 I paid over 120 STERLING for this racquet) I bought another. The prince is now confined to the closet. And I am now the best tennis player in the world… (one part of this review is untrue).
Customer Review: I would buy it again
This is the best racquet I’ve played with because of its balance of control, power and maneuverability. It’s good for serves, ball placement, drop shots and plenty of spin. This 600G is the best value on the market today.

Head Flexpoint 4 Tennis Racquet Review
Our Review

The Head Flexpoint 4 is the 2005 update of the Head Liquid Metal 4 that won a 2003 Tennis Magazine Editors Choice award. Its an excellent choice for Intermediates seeking an equalizer racquet that can produce bigger shots with shorter strokes.

The reason for the update is the addition of Heads unique Flexpoint frame. The Flexpoint design allows the racquet head to cup the ball on impact. This cupping action enhances feel, spin and control.

Head Titanium Ti-S6 Tennis Racquet Review

Our Review:
Tennis Magazine gave A’s in all four categories. Power, Comfort, Control and Maneuverability. One of the best all time rated racquets.

The Head TI-S6 tennis racquet is the #1 selling racquet in America for a reason. Head produced the TI-S6 to have all the answers for the club player with a compact swing. Its superior titanium design allows a level of control rarely seen in a racquet with this much power. The maneuverability of a light weight racquet is there, but we were surprised by how solid it was on off center shots.

In Brazil it’s called frescoball and it is one of the sports that the city claims was invented here. Although that claim is debatable, it’s not debatable that this is one the best beach activities that exists. Resting for the restless I’m one of those people that gets restless sitting still. Hours and hours on the beach doing nothing doesn’t work for me. I wish it did but it doesn’t. If the waves are good I can do a bit of body surfing but sometimes the waves are too small, too big or the currents are too strong. There’s no lack of vollyball on the beaches of Rio but the problem here is finding an availible net as well as enough friends to make for an interesting game. For me, the ultimate beach activity is “fresco”. All you need are two small paddles, a rubberball and someone to play with and you are good to go. It s a game with no points and no winners. Yet there is a sense of competing together with your partner against the chaotic universe of ball bouincing elements. The goal bein …

Story has it that Ren Lacoste picked up the nickname “the Alligator” when rumors began floating around that he had made a bet with the captain of the French Davis Cup Team regarding an alligator skin suitcase. The official company statement from the website is that the captain of the team promised him an alligator skin suitcase if he won a very important match for the team. He won the match and was given the nickname by the American press after news about the bet was leaked. The nickname was shortly changed to “Le Crocodile” because of Rene’s French ethnicity and the name stayed with him due to his doggedness and aggressive behavior on the tennis court. Later on, a friend of his by the name of Robert George designed a small crocodile logo, which Rene affixed to his personal blazer that he wore while playing tennis. When he retired from tennis in 1933, Lacoste partnered with Andr Gillier and started up the company La Chemise Lacoste. They began designing a tennis shirt based upon a d …

In his defense, he was (and still is) in very good shape, and he pulled off the look much better than most of his contemporaries could have. Of course, the crowing glory to his ensemble was his wooden, circa 1975 tennis racquet. Its wooden frame and small, ovular head were in marked contrast to my racquet’s metal frame and neon-colored polyester strings. However, that contrast now serves as an excellent example of the changes tennis racquets have undergone over the past few decades. Tennis racquets have, in one form or another, been around for hundreds of years. Up until the late 1960s, most tennis racquets were made of laminated wood. At that time, the first steel racquets were introduced and popularized by Jimmy Connors, a top American tennis player of the era. A few years later, aluminum construction came on the market, which allowed for racquets of much lighter weight. As a result, “oversized” racquet heads were popular for the first time. Previously, racquet heads had been about …

It’s important to develop and improve your game with the right table tennis or ping pong equipment. This does not mean going out to buy one of the most expensive blades that professional use, but you may need to spend a little more than your basic Kmart special. You need something that allows you to develop the correct strokes, and that allows rapid development of your game when you put enough effort into it. It should not be ‘the equipment’ that holds back your progress. At the same it should be something that offer value for money, and you should not be paying extra for an expensive brand name, where (at your level) you will not be able to notice the difference. A table tennis bat, also commonly referred to as a ‘racket’ or ‘paddle’, basically consists of two parts, namely the “blade” which is the wooden part of the bat, and the rubbers which cover the blade on both sides. The first choice you need to make is whether you buy a ‘pre-made bat’ (or recreational bat) or whether you buy …
