Volkl - Tour 10 Gen II Mid Plus Tennis Racket w/ Free Stringing Volkl is proud to embrace the many accolades given over the past years to the legendary C10 Pro - realizing that an improvement was not only possible, but also needed for today’s game. With this in mind, as well as respecting those players who believed that the C10 Pro was their personal “Holy-Grail”, Volkl is proud to introduce the next “Legend” to the tennis world - Tour 10 Gen II Mid Plus. The biggest difference between the Tour 10 Gen II Mid Plus and the Tour 10 V-Engine Mid Plus can be found in the throat area. The Tour 10 Gen II Mid Plus remains traditional looking in this region. By doing so, the “soft” / “flexible” / “feel” remains for those players longing for that special feel of yesterday’s racquets but having today’s technology enhancements for greater performance. Let there be no confusion! The Tour 10 Gen II Mid Plus is a serious racquet designed only for the serious player who demands the ultimate in today’s technology combined with the traditional feel of yesterday. Ideally suited for players with aggressive, long strokes. Recommended for the 5.0-7.0 NTRP level players. Dynamic PCP: Power Control Pattern: The dense string pattern in the racquet’s sweetspot ensures that power is controllable. Balls hit outside the sweetspot maintain optimal power and comfort thanks to the more open string bed. Sensor Tour Handle System: Includes a two part racquet shaft and TechnoGel surrounded by EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate). This is visible technology you can actually see through the butt cap of the racquet. Designed to dampen vibration without sacrificing touch. Free Stringing Included: We will string this racquet for you at the manufacturer’s recommended tension using Wilson Stamina 16g synthetic gut at no cost.

Head MicroGel Extreme Pro Tennis Racquet Offering a perfect combination of weight and balance, Head’s MicroGel Extreme Pro prestrung tennis racquet is ideal for today’s faced-paced, aggressive game. It’s no secret that tennis has changed. New techniques have evolved, included expanded use of spin, faster and more aggressive swing styles, and more versatility in footwork and hitting stances. These “modern tennis” techniques can produce huge gains in performance, but also make huge demands on equipment. That’s where MicroGel technology steps in. With the lowest density of any material, Head’s MicroGel is a revolutionary new silicone-based material that’s teamed with stiff and strong carbon composite fibers to create a racquet with incredibly responsive qualities. On ball impact, MicroGel uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame to provide the most rock-solid feel and superior touch ever achieved.
MicroGel isn’t the only improved technology, however. Head’s Extreme Pro racquets also offer an increased head width, which allows the ball to slide further across the string bed to produce unmatched spin. The end result of the improvements is a racquet that’s extremely light, solid, and fast when you swing through the ball. The MicroGel Extreme Pro differs just a bit from the Extreme, with more weight granting even more power to hard hitters.
Specifications
- Head size: 100 square inches
- Balance: 12, 2 inches
- Grip size: 1-5
- String pattern: 16/19
- Swing style: L3
- Length: 27 inches

Customer Review: Great racket bad color I love this racket. I’m a 4.0 male player. I switched to this racket from a Wilson Hyper Prostaff. Although this racket is heavier than the Wilson, it feels lighter because it is head light, where as the Wilson was head heavy. The color is not what I would have picked however. In fact the only reason I tried this racket is because I thought I was buying the Extreme Team version for my wife (much lighter). So look and read carefully, the markings are very similar.
