What Are Sisters to Do? Venus and Serena at the OpenPosted by: Mr.Tennis in Interesting SiteS. Open against each other. They have played against each other quite a few times in various tournaments and even in the finals of several of the major championships. And every time they are scheduled to play against each other the commentators begin speculating on how it could possibly be that they would really give their all and each try as hard as she could to win. Many times there are suspicious comments thrown out that the girls pre-determine the outcome and simply play into that scenario. And every time, when questioned the sisters independently deny the allegation. They are “professional athletes” and although they love each other and want the best for each other, they each try their darnedest to win. Firstly, I believe the girls are indeed great athletes and great champions - and even greater professionals. They play the ball within the sport, not the person. Commentators and many of the players cannot get beyond the “trying to beat someone” thing. Nobody is beaten. The ball wi … Tags: Allegation, Commentators, Girls, Love, Play Ball, Professional Athletes, Sport, Venus And Serena.. The French Open takes place in early June, and then a fortnight later comes the mighty Wimbledon, the tournaments of tournaments in the tennis world. Tennis is watched and played all over the world, and it’s this popularity that you tap into for your profit. Niche marketing means that you focus on a certain group of people who have the same interest. Sport is great for this, because each sport can be a niche in itself, and can also be broken down into subniches. For example, tennis fans like to buy merchandise, maybe you could sell Wimbledon towels or umbrellas, or how about posters of the big stars? (sports posters are a big seller). You could start your own site and provide these goods yourself, but it’s much more efficient to use the affiliate model, which means you send traffic to sites already selling the goods, and make commission on any sales. The affiliate model had made many fortunes online. Tennis has plenty of other routes to profit. There is a market for tickets to the b … Tags: Affiliate Model, Buy Sell, Focus, Fortnight, Fortunes, French Open, Niche Marketing, Popularity, Sport, Sports Posters, Stars, Tap, Tennis Fans, Tennis World, Towels, Traffic, Umbrellas, Wimbledon, World TennisTennis is also one of the few sports that uses most of the muscles on your body, which means you get a very good overall workout, and it’s great for your cardio. For these reasons, tennis is ideal as a beginners’ sport, even for those who have never been active in sports. Tennis is also a very sociable game. It takes at least two to play tennis, just like it takes two to tango. You can chit chat with your partner in between sets. Unless you’re in a competitive match, you can even trade jokes during the game! For even more fun, when you’re more confident in your game, you can invite an additional two players to make it a “doubles”. What do you need? A tennis racquet A pair of tennis shoes (or track shoes) Some tennis balls A tennis court And a partner! What you need to know? Here are some of the things you need to know before getting on the court. 1. How to hold the tennis racquet Assuming you’re right handed, hold the tennis racquet on your left hand. It is true to say, that every sport can be attempted and if you have flare and are dedicated to learning, that you can participate in that sport, but there is still the need to be able to perform correctly, to get anywhere in that sport. Most sports have a technical issue and that is ther difference between just participating and competing. As an example practically everyone can go out and run, but if you want to compete against other runners, then you will need to find out the finer, technical points of running. This goes without saying, in practically all sports. There is a particular problem for beginners, in learning to play tennis, without any kind of instruction, and this is the frustration of trying to hit the ball and trying to send it where you want to, in the first instance. Two people decide to go to the tennis court, they each have a … Tags: First Instance, Frustration, Learning To Play Tennis, People, Professional Coach, Professional Tennis Coach, Runners, Sport, Sports, Tennis Court, Tennis Instruction
