I’m sorry to say that all the excitement and passion of the prior two novels (”The Sacred Quest” and “The Lost Scrolls”) do not remain in this last one. Admittedly it’s still one of the best books in LDS fiction, but I’m afraid that Heimerdinger manages to get a little hokey in his story telling, so much that it almost boarders on disturbing.

Passion for some is that something which they truly love with supreme sincerity, that something which allows them to wake up in the morning with something to look forward to, and above all, that something which gives them genuine happiness in their lives.
