When Becky and Josh Plimpton are kidnapped by Todd Finlay, Megan and her two suitors, Ryan and Apollus, attempt to rescue them, but through the mysterious powers of the Rainbow Room, one group ends up in nineteenth-century Jerusalem and the other in central America hundreds of years after the visitation of the Savior to the Nephites. Customer Review: Lots more random action Sometimes I think that the Tennis Shoes series should have ended with “The Golden Crown”. Not to say that this next section of the series isn’t most exciting, but this book is not up to par with the rest of the series and is sadly rather average.

Tennis Shoes and the Seven Churches: Book One (Tennis Shoes Series, 5) In an attempt to help his sister, who has cancer, fifteen-year-old Harry again enters Frost Cave to travel back in time, but takes a wrong turn and ends up in Jerusalem in 60 A.D., where the teachings of Christ have been twisted and war and lawlessness prevail, making Harry’s task seem impossible. Customer Review: VERY GOOD BOOK! I own all seven of the Tennis Shoes books and love and cherish each of them. I read this book for my book report and couldn’t wait for the next report to start the next one, “The Lost Scrolls”! I am unhappy he titled this book, “The Seven Churches” because the Seven Churches are mentioned ONCE in the hwhole story. It should be “The Lost Scrolls Part 1″. All in all I rate this book 100 out of 5 stars! Must read this series! Customer Review: ANOTHER GREAT BOOK BY HEIMERDINGER When I first heard that the main character was going to be Harry Hawkins in this book I thought for sure that this book and The Lost Scrolls wouldn’t be as good as the first for with Jim Hawkins as the main character. To my suprise it was just as good as all of the other Tennis Shoes books (which is really really good.) I can’t wait to read Heimerdinger’s next book.

Tennis Shoes: The Lost Scrolls (Tennis Shoes Adventure Series) Harry and Meagan face the awesome challenges of courage and survival in the hostile world of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Customer Review: Incredible An excellent adventure continues from where “The Sacred Quest” left off. More characters enter the story along with plenty more of action and characteristic snappy humor. There is even a little romance as new characters are introduced.
Perhaps one of Heimerdinger’s best novel, this has everything that is necessary for a great story (see all that is mentioned above.) Now that everything had been set up in the prior novel, the story truly juices itself up with excellent plot and intrigue.
