Head Titanium Ti-S6 Tennis Racquet Review

Our Review:
Tennis Magazine gave A’s in all four categories. Power, Comfort, Control and Maneuverability. One of the best all time rated racquets.

The Head TI-S6 tennis racquet is the #1 selling racquet in America for a reason. Head produced the TI-S6 to have all the answers for the club player with a compact swing. Its superior titanium design allows a level of control rarely seen in a racquet with this much power. The maneuverability of a light weight racquet is there, but we were surprised by how solid it was on off center shots.

By and large, there are three types of ’styles’ that players usually fall into, and most players usually adopt a style that maximizes their natural strengths on the court wile simultaneously minimizing their weaknesses. Let’s take a look at the three most widely adopted ’styles’ of tennis. Let’s start with the ‘Baseliner’. A Baseliner is a player that, most of the time, plays from the baseline and utilizes their ground strokes to play their most effective tennis. Most often, this results in long rallies back and forth across the net, with the Baseliner’s main goal being to simply hit the ball back over the net just one more time than their opponent. Strategies of the Baseliner include: - Moving the opponent side to side, wearing their opponent down physically by making them run down well-placed shots. - Keeping the ball deep in their opponent’s court, which reduces the angle from which their opponent may attack. - Hitting a variety of consistently well-placed shots that keeps their …

Prince O3 SpeedPort Red Tennis Racquet Prince O3 SpeedPort Red Tennis Racquet The Prince O3 Speedport Red features an aerodynamic refinement to the largest sweetspot offered in the Prince racquet line thanks to the use of new square-shaped O-Ports that generates a livelier response across the entire string bed. Extremely generous sweetspot and very maneuverable (thanks fo the 27.25 inch length and slightly head light balance) at the net as well. Customer Review: Improve your game NOW.
I love my SpeedPort O3 Red. It is light, but remarkably steady and free of vibration. The engineers at Prince really outdid themselves with this racquet. It really delivers power and stability in a light racquet with good control and enough time on the contact to give the ball good spin action. I recommend this raquet for most intermediate tennis players. Wonderful ground strokes and great serves are possible with this racquet.

But, you can also have fun with a friend or parent. - Tennis the easy way! How to learn a natural forehand in a basic type of stroke for people just learning the game: Ground-strokes: THE TENNIS FOREHAND Start by just holding one tennis ball, bounce it of the ground with one hand and catch it again either with one hand or both. Do this 10 or 15 times alone.Get a partner (parent/coach) standing about 6 to 8 feet in front of you and start throwing a tennis ball under handed towards each other (bouncing once or twice) and catching it again with one hand or both. Do this 15 or 20 times.* Repeat step 2 but instead of catching the ball use the open palm of your dominant hand to gently hold and push the ball towards your partner in an upwards motion. See if you can keep the ball in play with one bounce (or two) between you. Try counting until you traded the ball 10 times with each other. Remember use the open palm of your hand.As a beginner you should not be concerned with grips, now just ho …

The answer really depends on what your tennis goals are. If, for example, you are a young player who wants to play tennis ’seriously’ and gain a national ranking and/or perhaps a college scholarship, I am going to tell you that you need to start with neither your strokes or your footwork. You need to start with physical conditioning. After you have a physical fitness regime in place, you would then - and only then - start with learning proper footwork. Once you have a solid foundation of physical fitness and proper footwork, you can then start working with your coach on the details concerning your racquet, grip size, types of grips used for different strokes that best suit you, and begin the process of grooving your ground strokes. If you are a social player, and play a couple of time a week but still want to improve, I would suggest to you that learning - and applying - proper footwork is definitely where you will see the fastest improvement in your games, hands down. Why? Well, firs …

Babolat New Pure Drive (Cortex) Standard Tennis Racquet - 1328 Babolat New Pure Drive (Cortex) Standard Tennis Racquet - 1328 An update to the legendary Babolat Pure Drive Team, the new Pure Drive w/ Cortex utilizes a vibration filter called Cortex at the top of the handle. Cortex is used in several of Babolat’s players racquets to enhance feel by cancelling only the 2 highest vibration frequencies.Only those frequencies that enhance feel are permitted to pass through the Cortex filter.

Other than the addition of the Cortex filter (and a snazzy new paint scheme) Babolat has kept the specifications on this new Pure Drive EXACTLY the same as the outgoing Pure Drive Team. That is, the Pure Drive w/ Cortex is not a traditional players racquet in the sense that it’s light, stiff, and fairly powerful.

More effectively categorized as a tweener (between powerful/controlled), the Pure Drive still appeals to a very wide array of players. One of a few racquets that works well at the net, as well as the baseline.

    Racquet Specifications
  • Headsize: 100 sq. in.
  • Length: 27.00 in.
  • Weight (strung): 11.3 oz.
  • Stiffness (Babolat RDC): 71
  • Balance: 12.99 in. Head Light
  • Cross Section: 25mm Head/22mm Throat
  • Swingweight: 313 kg*sq. cm
  • String Pattern: 16×19
  • Grip: Syntec

Premium Stringing

We will string this racquet for you at the recommended tension with a premium synthetic gut string. This is a normal retail value of $24.95 for free!
Customer Review: Daughter tennis racquet

Wilson [K] Factor Six.One Tour Tennis Racquet Wilson [K] Factor Six.One Tour Tennis Racquet What’s the difference between winning and losing? Wilson boils it down to one word: [k]ontrol. The Wilson [K] Factor Six.One Tour racquet is made using [k]arophite black nanotechnology, a proprietary next-generation structure that results in better feel and a stronger, more stable performance. As a result, it’s easier than ever for players to shape their shots and hit the corners with accuracy. And control is a crucial tool, as players who had the fewest unforced errors have won a combined 74 percent of the most recent Grand Slam tournaments. In fact, the [K] Factor Six.One Tour is so precise that it’s the favorite of Roger Federer. Recommendations don’t come any better than that.

The [K] Factor Six.One Tour also comes around a bit quicker than other racquets, creating more pace and penetration on ground strokes. And the racquet offers plenty of control and hop during serves.

Customer Review: Best of the best….
The new Wilson Tour 90 is one of the finest rackets made today, best control and precision on the market. You need to manufacture your own power and the sweet spot is small. However, the ball absolutely goes where it is aimed. I have used the Kevlar 85 for 15 years because there was no better racket on the market, until now.

Customer Review: 6:4, 6:2, 6:2
That is the score of today’s match with a friend of mine who had been kicking my butt most of the time when we played in the past. It was the first time I used this racquet. I was improving my game using my old racquet too, but this was ridiculous just how much my game instantly improved when I got my hands on this thing. I couldn’t believe my first serve. It was still powerful, but with much greater consistency and precision. My ground strokes had much more control and it was much easier for me to get the ball exactly where I wanted it. Before, I used 107 sq. inches racquet, and I was a bit worried if smaller size would negatively affect my game, but coming down to 95 sq. inches did not bother me at all. Not with this one. My volleying and smashing at the net is pretty much the same. I like the weight and balance too. It just feels right in the hand. I would wholeheartedly recommend this racquet to everyone who’s looking to improve their game. It’s been an exhilarating experience for me to play at this new level, and I can’t wait to hit the court again. Oh, the delivery was fast and efficient.
Customer Review: Wilson nCode Ntour 95 tennis Racket
It is a good quality racket. When I hit the ball with this racket, I feel the fine swing, extradinary sound, at the same time with good powerful ball hitting.
