Customer Review: too narrow
I remember buying these shoes in the early 90’s but as a reviewer on another site notes the fit has narrowed. I’m barely a medium width (D) and these shoes felt too tight in the front section of the foot. That tight a fit would cause on to be in pain if wearing them. Just look at a picture of these shoes, they’re shaped like a canoe, long and narrow. I had to return them. I’d go with the newer versions of tennis shoe. The problem with this shoe is I don’t think they are available except on the internet so I couldn’t try them on first.
I also didn’t like the grey lining on the inside.

Customer Review: THE LONGEST LASTING TENNIS SHOW EVER
After more than 15 years playing tennis, this is undeniably the pair of shoes with the longest lasting sole I have every bought. Over a year of heavy use during the weekends and there is no visible sign of wear yet. Amazing ! Even other brands with “goodyear soles” and whatever don’t come close. The design isn’t the best I’ve seen but to me this is secondary compared to comfort and lasting.

I’ve had four pair of the Pro Staff shoes, which I find very comfortable and long lasting. The most recent pair surprised me, however, because they seemed a bit narrower than the previous pairs and are not quite as comfortable.

I play 20 hours of tennis every week. This is the only shoe that lasts me a little over a month. They mold to my feet very quickly and do not cause blisters. Plus they usually come with a warranty card that enables the buyer to exchange their shoes if they are worn out within 6 months. A perfect shoe for any tennis player!!!!!!
