After its initial rise in popularity with the French nobility, tennis spread throughout Europe, becoming particularly popular in England. As in France the game became recognised as the sport of kings. Henry VIII was a very keen player and built a court at his palace in Hampton Court, still used today by Real Tennis enthusiasts. In those days Tennis was generally played on a natural grass court using wooden racquets strung with cows gut. Whilst court surfaces and racquet string technology have changed throughout the years, the fundamentals of the game have remained unchanged. Developing your own game to the best of your ability requires attention to four main areas of the game. The first area is technique. Prince Tour Extra Duty Tennis Balls - Can The new Prince Tour ball is designed for top players who demand high-quality performance products Made with a durable high-visibility woven felt for optimum playability and visibility Covered by hand for exacting consistency and a Dynamic Core with a PURE rubber compound that provides longer ball life Extra duty balls are designed for hard court surfaces Customer Review: the energizer of tennis balls Best balls I have ever played with - more lively and longer lasting. The first one I ever used was found on the court and it played better than a new Penn or Wilson. We kept playing with it over several matches/weeks and it never disappointed. I bought some and it did not seem so different initially. But as we played, it retained an extra pop that others quickly lost and seemed to get better as the surface lost the fuzz.
