Volkl DNX 4 Tennis Racquet The Volkl DNX 4 uses the revolutionary new material DNX combined with 2 catapult springs at 3 & 9 o’clock to deliver an extremely powerful racquet in a more-controlled 105 sq. in. headsize. The unique characteristics of DNX: 25-times stronger than regular carbon graphite fibres. This adds superior strength to the DNX 4 and automatically enhances the power and precision of every shot.

DNX technology is a unique new material developed by Volkl in cooperation with the Fraunhofer TEG Institute in Germany, that is 25 times stronger than any other mass-produced carbon fiber. DNX is located in three strategic points in the racquet to improve playability. DNX at 3 and 9 o’clock increases torsional stability, allowing for greater control, even off-center hits. DNX is also placed in a cap above the grip to add strength and power to the frame.
