To enjoy the game better, always provide yourself with the suitable tennis clothes, shoes and equipment. Do not choose any equipment, especially your shoes and racquet simply because your favorite player wears them. In choosing your shoes, make sure that it is a good fit and durable enough to stand the rigors of lateral, forward and backward movements including sudden stops and skids especially when you are playing on grass and clay courts. For your choice of the right racquet there are more variables that have to be considered - racquet frame material, string pattern, size of the handle, weight, and balance are critical factors to consider to obtain the best performance results. Choosing the right ball is also important since you ultimately need a ball that has regular bounce properties in order to learn how to play the game correctly and competitively. Watching the videos of professional tennis players is also a necessity if you are really interested in playing the game successfully …

Customer Review: Unique Foam Tennis Balls
Having hit with some foam tennis balls with a friend and enjoyed the diversion, I decided I would like to buy some to use with teaching kids to play tennis. The ones my friend had were about the size of a softball, bounced predictably, and moved in slow motion. They were fun to practice big strokes with.
So I checked out the offerings. The Unique Foam balls sounded and appeared to be similar to those I had used, but the advertisement did not mention how large they were. I decided to try them, thinking they were probably larger than a regular tennis ball. That was a mistake. When they came, they were the same size as a tennis ball. I still thought they might be usable, but when I tried them out, I was not pleased with them at all. They do not bounce as well as the larger ones–that is, not as lively, a lower bounce. Because they are smaller, they travel through the air a bit faster; and what makes them almost useless for my purposes–they are not truly round, so the direction of the bounce is unpredictable.

Customer Review: Great compared to Gamma pressureless
Don’t waste your money on Gamma balls. These are the best for ball machines and for practice. At first they feel hard but that goes away after a few hits.

Players stand on opposing sides of the court. The player who hits the ball to start the game is called the server. The other player stands on the opposite side, and diagonally across from the server and is called the receiver. 2. Which player serves first and which side of the court they start on is decided by the toss of a coin. 3. Singles tennis is one player against another. Doubles tennis is two players per side. In doubles tennis, the players alternate serving and hitting the ball, and one player stands closer to the net than the other. 4. The server stands in back of the baseline and serves the ball when the receiver is ready. If the ball hits the net but remains in-bounds, the server is allowed another serve. 5. The receiver can stand anywhere but must let the ball bounce in bounds prior to hitting. The ball cannot be hit before it bounces, or the server wins the point. 6. The server must call the score prior to serving, saying his score first. (see scoring, below). 7. If the b …

Customer Review: An excellent, durable tennis ball
Tretorn balls last a long time especially for casual users and for play at high altitudes. I only play occasionally during the winter and at 7,200 feet pressurized balls lose their bounce in a short time. Tretorn balls never go flat.

Customer Review: Unpleasantly Unique
I was expecting a foam tennis ball similar to the other ones on the market (Dunlop, Wilson, Gamma, etc.). What I recieved was a ball 1/2 the size and 1/2 the bounce as the other ones on the market. Not acceptable for playing tennis.
