The choice to buy weeks on a beach in an area we enjoyed visiting was a good one. For the first several years we used the summer week to return to our home resort and exchanged the early autumn week. One of our first exchanges was to Hilton Head Island where we discovered Island Club with a staff of pros and lots of tennis courts where guests could play for free. As avid tennis players, we were thrilled. The resort fronted on a beautiful wide beach that was very remote at the time. We could walk for what seemed like miles in one direction without encountering a soul. At low tide we did not even have to get our feet wet. At higher tides we could scramble across the rocks to continue our journey. We loved the spot so much we decided to make our next purchase directly from the resort without attending a sales meeting. We now owned three weeks which friends at home told us was a big mistake. It wasn’t for us. We had two weeks to use each year and one to trade. And what fun we had trading! …

They may even spend hours playing with a demo racket before purchasing it. Once they find the best tennis racket, many players go for the cheaper string or the string that they had in their old racket. This can be a big mistake. If you used a demo tennis racket, it most likely had the best all around string put in it for that racket.
